Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3: Know the Latest New about Square Enix's Upcoming Titles

It seems that game developer Square Enix has been busy in the past few months. The Japanese video game developer is set to release new and exciting games this year, so let's take a look at the latest developments in the Final Fantasy XV (FFXV) and Kingdom Hearts 3. These two RPG games are expected to hit gaming market by storm.

Let's start with the new Final Fantasy installment. Most of the online reports say the game will become available sometime this year. Previously, FFXV game director Hajime Tabata gave an update about the title, but he didn't reveal its firm release date. He said that fans have to wait until March for the latest developments.

Nevertheless, we can expect the FFXV's launching very soon. "This year is the year we'll release Final Fantasy XV," Tabata said in Express.co.uk. "We'll show the real XV during the release date announcement this March."

As for the gameplay of Final Fantasy 15, expect it to be challenging. Dubbed as "Active Cross Battle System," the game has more active combat features than its previous versions. To make it more awesome, developers are taking cues from Kingdom Hearts, Inverse published.

The battles in FFXV will happen in a robust 3D environment, where players can jump and run free. There are also magic attacks in the game, and players can have specialized rings that can manipulate different elements in the environment.

Furthermore, the graphics of upcoming Final Fantasy is tighter. It will have a dynamic weather system, which will dampen character's clothes and hair.

On another hand, let's look at the latest news about Kingdom Hearts 3. IB Times published that Winnie the Pooh and Tigger might appear in the third installment of the action role-playing game. The rumors about their appearance started during an interview with Pooh and Tigger voice actor Jim Cummings. However, there's still no confirmation from Square Enix about this information, so let's take it with a grain of salt.

So far, Donald and Goofy have been confirmed as the new Disney Characters, who will join Sora, the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts franchise.

The game will be made available for the Xbox One and PS4 consoles. However, Square Enix has not yet made announcements about the game's release date.   In the meantime, fans can get the rest of Sora's backstory in "Kingdom Hearts 2.8," which will come out sometime this year.
