• North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un to Execute 33 Christians for Starting Underground Churches

  Kim Jong Un has sentenced 33 people to death for receiving funds from missionary Kim Jung Wook to build 500 underground churches in North Korea in an alleged attempt to overthrow the government. The South Korean missionary also faces serious charges, and could be sentenced to death as well.

  

• Menlo Park Presbyterian Church Overwhelmingly Votes to Leave PCUSA for ECO

  An overwhelming majority of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church members voted Sunday to be dismissed from their denomination Presbyterian Churches USA and to join ECO: A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, despite having to pay a dismissal fee of $8.89 million. The vote was 2,024 in favor and 158 against.

If the vote passes, the church will pay a settlement fee of $8.89 million to PCUSA, according to the dismissal terms.
