Supreme Court Justice Replacements Suggested By GOP Candidate Donald Trump
Representatives from Iowa, Colorado, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Utah, Alabama, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Texas were recommended today (May 18) as potential replacements for Justice Antonin Scalia on the U.S. Supreme Court by GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump. Scalia, 79, died in his sleep in February.

First Transgender Woman Appointed To President Barack Obama's Faith Advisory Council
Barbara Satin, a transgender woman, joined representatives from the Sikh and Baha'i communities as new advisers to President Barack Obama on faith-based issues. The White House announced the additions to the President's third and final advisory council on faith-based and neighborhood partnerships on May 12. But Satin's appointment was not welcomed by all.
