As for the 3.6 L V6 with 325 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque, it is good for 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. The 6.2 L V8 with 455 hp and 455 lb-ft of torque, which is the most powerful and capable of 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds with the automatic.
Chevrolet's vision was to bring the 2016 Camaro to consumers as a price of about $25,000, and from what is heard of the actual price, the company stayed within that goal, for the most part. The full official pricing has been released, as Cars Direct reports that the 2016 Camaro 1LT equipped with a 4-cylinder turbo and 6-speed manual will start at $25,700 (before $995 destination charge) opting for the 8-speed automatic adds $1,495 to the price. The Camaro 1LT V6 will start at $27,195, a $1,495 premium over the turbo, and upper-spec SS models will receive the largest price increases as the 2016 Camaro 1SS will start at $36,300.
As for the release date, the company website states the "2016 Camaro is fast approaching". Many reports about the exact release date point to some good news, and that the new Camaro will be finding its way to Chevy showrooms during the month of November. The Coupe models powered by the V-6 and V-8 will be available shortly, but the turbo model and the convertible (with Non-Stop Drop Top) won't show up until early next year.
