LG G smartphones series are set to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow LG

Now that we are in 2016, it doesn't look like any of LG's devices, even the newest, have received the Android upgrade as yet.  Considering that it has almost been three months since Google announced that they were officially rollout out Android Version 6.0 (also known as Android M or Marshmallow), very few devices, other than Google Nexus devices and some others, have actually received it.  This is what we know about the Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G4, G3, and Possibly G2 on United States carriers like Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and AT&T.

Originally, LG announced that they were going to be completely on top of the Android rollout, and excited to announce that their flagship phone, the LG G4, was going to be the first to receive the version 6.0 upgrade.  The truth is, they were quick to put it out in Poland in spite of some technical difficulties, and a lot of other countries in Europe (Germany, Portugal, Spain, Romania, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Croatia and Turkey) got the update as well by November.  At the same time, LG consumers in the company's country of Korea also received their Android update.

Given this news, it looks like LG is on a good roll for the rollout, but earlier expectancies of the Marshmallow rollout arriving in the United States by the end of 2015 didn't really happen.  So it is probably that the LG G4 is on track to receive the Android M upgrade by January or February of 2016, according to Pocket-Lint

The latest news about LG is that Poland has just confirmed that Android Marshmallow has arrived on the LG G3 devices of the country, according to Phone Arena.  Considering that it has rolled out here, it probably won't be long before it rolls out everywhere else.

The upgrade to Marshmallow is somewhat dependent on the carrier, which in the United States is Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T, and US Cellular.  A separate article on Phone Arena has revealed that Sprint has updated the LG G4 to Marshmallow, and it looks like the LG G Stylo has also received the same upgrade.

Android Pit reports that T-Mobile has listed the LG G3, LG G4, and LG G Stylo as the first devices to receive Android Marshmallow in the first wave of updates.  Some of these Android devices that have not received Android 5.1.1 yet, and it looks like the G2 could also receive the Android M update.
