It is pretty obvious that Android Marshmallow should be available on most of the newer Android devices, and after about four months, it is making progress.  Most of the flagships from Samsung, HTC, Motorola, and even Sony are starting to get it, so what about LG?  Fortunately, the South Korean company is on it, and this is the latest news for Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G4, G3, G4 Stylo, G Flex 2, and V10; Release Date for the LG G5 and Price.

As far as LG G4 is concerned, it is pretty much taken care of.  Sprint, US Cellular, T-Mobile, Verizon, and our last report said that AT&T should be getting it soon, but a report from Android Central says that the AT&T version is available now.

Anyway, it looks like the LG G3 has been upgraded by Verizon, and it doesn't look like there is any report on the precise release date for other carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular.  There is also word that the LG G2 is getting an Android Marshmallow release date, but this also doesn't' have anything specific.

A recent report from Neurogadget has stated that the United States five big-name carriers (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular, and T-Mobile) are readying themselves for the release of Android Marshmallow.  This list not only includes the previously mentioned LG G4 and G3, but others including the G4 Stylo, the V10, and G Flex 2.

So, that's the progress for older LG phones, but what about the new flagship phone, the LG G5?  According to Ubergizmo, there is a release date known for the LG G5, and it will be coming to US Cellular on April 1st.  That is no joke, and pre-orders can be made on March 28th.  The phone will be offered for $636 without a contract, and then $199 on a two-year contract.

It looks like Verizon is going to be the first to be receiving the firmware, which makes a lot of sense given their track record with the current LG flagships.  After that, subscribers on Sprint are expected to get it, followed by (presumably in no particular order) AT&T, US Cellular, and T-Mobile.  As the tradition of Android rollouts go, different carriers can get it before others, depending what type of issues the others are facing.

So if it is available from US Celluar, what about the other carriers?  That is still a factor as Gotta Be Mobile reports that it will be coming from Verizon and others like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint, but with no real specific release date as yet.   A separate report from Ubergizmo states that the phone will be available on March 18th.
