LG G smartphones series are set to receive Android 6.0 Marshmallow LG

It has been a few months since the beginning of the rollout of Android M (also known as Android Version 6.0 or just Marshmallow).  For those that have newer LG devices, you should really have it by now.  But if you don't, here is the latest news on Android M Version 6.0 Marshmallow Release Date for LG G5, G4, G3, G2, G Stylo, and V10 on Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and AT&T.

The fact is, LG is doing a pretty good job of rolling out Android 6.0 to its users.  Users of more recent LG devices are encouraged to check your "Settings" and "System Updates" to see if Marshmallow is ready to download.  This upgrade might not be ready depending on your U.S. carrier, as it has been shown that certain carriers receive the Android upgrade before others, with no real pattern.

At this point, there really is no point in bringing up Android M on the LG G5.  I mean, it comes with Android 6.0 out of the packaging, for crying out loud!  However, I'm sure users of last year's flagship phone from LG, the LG G4, want to know how the update is going.

The truth is, the LG G4 is as covered as the LG G5, with the upgrade having been received on all carriers including T-Mobile, US Cellular, AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, the first to receive its Android upgrade as of last December.

So yes, LG has promised that its users would be the first to enjoy Marshmallow on their Android devices, and it is a good thing that newer devices are getting it.  So what about older Android devices?

A recent report on Gotta Be Mobile gave a detailed list, and it states that LG G3 is getting its rollout on most G3 devices.  Last week, we stated that T-Mobile and AT&T essentially have it, which means that it is getting out there, and Verizon had it as early as February.

Then there are other non-flagship phones from LG.  For example, the LG G Stylo received its Android 6.0 update on T-Mobile as of the beginning of March.  This also goes for the LG V10, as the International unlocked version received its Android 6.0 upgrade at the beginning of March, according to Android Authority.  It was then followed up by Verizon at the end of March, with T-Mobile and AT&T receiving their upgrade sometime in April.

Then there are certain tablets from LG, such as the LG G Pad X8.3.  Believe it or not, there are reports that this is receiving its Android upgrade now.  Tech Radar reports that other devices such as the LG G Flex 2 and the LG G4c could be getting upgrades, but there needs to be more word on that.
