For those that are not aware, the iPhone 7 is coming. This won't be another "S" version like the one last year, so you had better make certain that you purchase a new case if you are getting the latest version of Apple's smartphone. At least, that is what it seems to be, as this is everything that is known about the Apple iPhone 7 Release Date, with its new features and rumors of the device.
According to Ubergizmo, there was a lot of hype that the iPhone 7 would have a Smart Connector. After all, the iPad Pro has one, and the smaller 9.7-inch iPad Pro had one, so it just makes sense, right? Wrong, maybe. There are reports that claim that Apple has decided not to include that Smart Connector on the iPhone 7. However, there was a leaked photo of the iPhone 7 which had a dual camera setup, redesigned antenna and a Smart Connector. So, the jury is still out as far as that Smart Connector is concerned, I guess, and that goes for that rumor on the USB-C port.
Many believe that the iPhone 7 will be thinner than ever, with a lot of rumors insisting that the headphone jack will be removed entirely. This will certainly increase the Bluetooth headphone market, or perhaps Apple wants to funnel the sound through the Lightning port, perhaps? That missing headphone jack will be a serious game changer, and it is gaining a lot of momentum.
So, if you don't have that pair of Bluetooth earbuds/headphones, you might want to purchase them for your iPhone 7. However, will you need to purchase a new case? You might not have to, as Forbes states that the iPhone 7 will have similar schematics to the iPhone 6S, down to the nearest millimeter. Perhaps consumers won't have to purchase new accessories after all.
There are also reports that the iPhone 7 could have a longer battery life, even though most of the time Apple does not sacrifice other features of the latest iPhone to achieve higher battery power. It is possible that there could be a higher screen resolution, raising the pixel density.
Many believe that 16 GB will no longer be the lowest storage offering, with the iPhone 7 starting at 32 GB and raising to 64 and 128 GB options. Then there are the other rumors of the 3D screen (which won't happen), the wireless charging (which probably will happen), and better waterproofing (which should happen).
As far as the release date is concerned, the big event where the new iPhone 7 is announced should happen sometime in September. There will be two (with the other being the iPhone 7 Plus size) and possibly another, according to MacWorld. It is not known what the other one could be as Apple already unveiled a smaller iPhone last spring.
