Prepare for an action-packed galactic battle in Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. Activision said the first-person shooter's release date is on Nov. 4.  To tease fans, a new video from IWIntel talked about how in-game weapons and vehicles enhance Infinite Warfare's gameplay in a big way.

Here's the latest round-up of update about Call of Duty Infinite Warfare release date, pre-orders and gameplay.

Based on the Black Sky gameplay preview, Infinite Warfare looks awesome. It is filled with heart-pounding scenes, partnered with thrilling sound effects. Also, the weapons and vehicles are realistic and artfully made. Players would really feel that they are in a futuristic warfare.

Art Director Brian Horton, Lead Vehicles Artist Dan Savage and Lead Weapons Artist Sean Byers share their thoughts about making the vehicles and weapons in the game. Specifically, they discuss the effect of vehicles and weapons in the game's overall experience.

"[We] make sure that vehicles push the design of game, so that they result in a rewarding experience," Byers said in a video uploaded on Youtube.

Infinite Warfare features wide variety of vehicles. For example, there's a fighter jet that can go to outer space with a top speed of 5,200 km/h.

Gamers will play as Capt. Nick Reyes of the United Nations Space Alliance in the Infinite Warfare. Reyes is the commander of the UNSA Retribution, a large spacecraft carrier that serves as player's home base. Players will prepare for mission on the warship, and return to it in between operations.Take a tour at the Retribution's flightdeck by visiting this link.

Interested buyers can pre-order Infinite Warfare at Steam, GameStop and other leading retailers. Activision says early buyers will receive access to Terminal, a revamped version of popular multiplayer map from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. In that game, the map is located in the airport where the "No Russian" mission took place. This time, Terminal is situated on the moon. Instead of an airplane, a space shuttle is parked in the map.

In a statement published in Fraghero, a representative of Activision says reservations for Call of Duty Infinite Warfare are "strong, and continue to be very positive."

We expect more details about the game will be released in the next few months. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare will land on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on Nov. 4.
