Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars ended with Bindi Irwin crowned the winner of the coveted Disco Ball trophy.  Now there is going to be a long three month hiatus until Season 22 of the popular reality dancing show, which means that there will be a lot of rumors as far as what will happen, including the Contestant list and Premiere Date.  This is what is currently known at this time.

One thing that fans of the show are glad to hear is that Len Goodman will be returning to the judging table.  The reason for his absence in Season 21 was due to commitments in the UK, where he also judges Strictly Come Dancing, and he also wanted to spend time with his new grandson, according to TV Series Finale.

However, most fans of the show already knew that.  The big question is who will the contestants be?  Considering that Dancing with the Stars is a huge commitment for both the "stars" and the dancers, it stands to reason that phone calls are being made now to reserve the chosen ones that will be on the roster for Season 22 of the popular reality dancing show.

As it turns out, the New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings says that he wants to be on Dancing with the Stars, according to TMZ.  He says that he loves the show and wants to prove himself in another field now that his football days are over.

Okay, so that would cover the football player that usually appears on the show, and occasionally wins.  Since there is often a rapper that often appears, it looks like the rapper The Game has alluded to possibly accepting an offer if the money is right, according to Enstarz

There are also rumors that Caitlyn Jenner (formerly Bruce Jenner) could be appearing on the show.  These rumors circulated last season, and these rumors were quickly squelched when a publicist representing the transgender celebrity just said "no."  Of course, rumors about big celebrities coming on Dancing with the Stars are common, as there was a call made to Jack Nicholson last season.  Jack declined, but he called back saying that he enjoyed watching the show.

It's pretty clear that the lineup of celebrities that include former child stars, and other nostalgic choices need to be filled.  Dancing with the Stars will return to ABC on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 8 P.M.  As far as the actual final cast is concerned, that usually gets announced on Good Morning America shortly before that.  The month of February is when the rumors really start flying.

In the meantime, the Dancing with the Stars: Live!  Dance All Night Tour will begin on December 15 and go until February 14, 2016 visiting 43 cities across the country, according to the Latin Post.  Leave a comment below if there is someone that you would like to see Dancing with the Stars, and it can range from anyone to anyone.
