A new season of "Duck Dynasty" will air this Wednesday, June 11 on A&E. Season Six promises to include classic Robertson family antics, and patriarch Phil will devote a large portion of his time to eliminating beavers from the family's land in the first episode. John Luke will also get some public speaking tips from Wille and Uncle Si, and Jase and Missy's oldest son Reed will graduate from high school. Miss Kay will endeavor to take up couponing, and will attempt to involve a reluctant Phil in picking out her outfit for a special guest appearance.

Christian Today reports that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, who is expected to run for the presidency in 2016, will present Willie and the rest of the family with the "Governor's Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence" for helping turn Duck Commander into a multi-million dollar business.

The Robertsons, who are known for their Christian faith and their commitment to strong family ties, have given much of the credit for the show's success to the Lord. "The Lord God Almighty is directing 'Duck Dynasty,'" Uncle Si told Fox News recently. Missy Robertson told The Gospel Herald that the family's desire is to make Christ appealing to those watching the show, without preaching to the choir.

While Season Five of "Duck Dynasty" saw a decrease in ratings after Phil Robertson's controversial remarks in GQ Magazine regarding the Biblical stance on homosexual practice, the show continued to attract millions of viewers each week. Season Six's premiere will air Wednesday at 9 p.m. CST. Fans can also watch the Duck Dynasty Season 6 Episode 1 live stream at A&E website.
