Fallout 4 DLC is coming. Bethesda Games/iDigitalTimes

Last year, Bethesda games finally had a follow-up to one of the biggest games of all time with Fallout 3 and gave players the long-awaited follow-up of Fallout 4.  Since then, gamers have journeyed again into the wasteland, and have discovered quite a bit to keep them occupied for months.  One of the things that makes Fallout 4 rather mysterious for its players isn't just the gameplay, but the possibility of downloadable content (DLC).

According to iDigitalTimes, some new Fallout 4 DLC is coming soon, or what Bethesda has been teasing fans with on Twitter.  A recent tweet from Bethesda Game Studios last week on February 11th read:  "We know you're ready to learn what's coming for Fallout 4 DLC.  We're not far off, and we think you'll be excited."

So "exciting" DLC information is coming, and if it is "not far off", then we don't suspect to wait until the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), the annual video game convention held at the Los Angeles Conference Center in Summer of 2016.  This was suspected that Bethesda would have a lot more information about Fallout 4 DLC then, as revealed in a separate article from iDigitalTimes.  This isn't to say that they might have even more information there, as well as info about Dishonored 2

In addition to the DLC, Bethesda Game Studios also plans on "doing a complete overhaul of Fallout 4 Survival mode".  This news also comes from a tweet from the company, and it is possible that this update will change things regarding food, sleep, diseases, danger, and more.  The difficulty could go up as well.

A report from the Express states that Bethesda Game Studios confirmed back in September 2016 that the company would be shaping their Fallout 4 updates and DLC content around fan input.  This could be happening already, as a lot of players have requested a Survival Mode based closer to what was seen in Fallout: New Vegas

There is also news that Bethesda Studios Vice President Pete Hines revealed an announcement set to be made about Fallout 4's Creation Kit, a feature that was promised back in 2016.  He stated:  "we're pretty close to divulging details.  Hang in there.  Won't be much longer".

There are also rumors of a PlayStation VR release date for this product, and this was a big leak, and it comes from Vrse, a company that has produced VR experiences for both U2 and Saturday Night Live.  Considering the hype surrounding PlayStation VR, this could be very big for Fallout 4.  This launch of Fallout 4 on VR could be as soon as April 2016, but fans will have to wait.

Having fans wait for their updates to Fallout 4 has become familiar territory, but it does show how exciting it is for fans of the game.  Feel free to leave a comment on what you want to see as far as DLC for Fallout 4 is concerned.
