It seems that Bethesda will release DLC for Fallout 4 soon. In an aquatic exploration, a Fallout gamer found mysterious objects and underwater secrets with a treasure map. The accidental discovery leads to speculations that game's DLC could be set on ocean floor.
An avid Fallout 4 player known as Lavon "Lavonicus" Smith explored the briny deeps of Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG. The player spent more than 30 hours of charting all of the underwater depths of the open world title, according to a report from GameRant.
The underwater setting has some kind of pump structure of sorts with large pipes and a spherical base with some kind of caged impeller prop. The site is currently unavailable and interaction wasn't possible. Some fans wonder if this is a clue for future underwater game content.
Lavonicus also found various objects, structures, pop culture references - including one of the game's best Easter eggs dedicated to Jaws
Underwater DLC speculations intensified when a special harpoon gun was discovered last month. When the weapon was used, it emitted bubbles. Some players believed that this weapon was associated with a "scrapped" underwater mission or perhaps was indicative of future content.
The emitted bubble only appeared on one surface that may lead one to believe that this object is a clue for a possible underwater adventure. Plus, there's an in-game quest called "Here There Be Monsters" that lets players investigate the seas to find a sunken Chinese submarine.
Furthermore, the most recent entry in the game features a perk called "Aqua Boy", which allows players to breathe underwater without suffering any damage. Nevertheless, there's something relatively unusual from Lavonicus' underwater exploration, and there's still the possibility that the game developer is creating a underwater content for some Fallout 4's Season Pass and DLC materials.
It is also interesting to note that water is a crucial element of the Fallout setting, so it makes complete sense that it would be worked into the overworld.
As for the DLC content speculations, Fallout 4's Bethesda Softworks company is said to be basing their content from gamer's feedback.
The post-apocalyptic game Fallout 4 is out now, and it is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
