Good news for Fallout gamers out there. Bethesda revealed the first DLC of Fallout 4, Automatron, will land on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 on March 22. Based on the latest trailer, the expansion pack is full of interesting surprises.
Here's what you need to know about Fallout 4 DLC release date, features and trailer.
The Automatron introduces a new villain, the Mechanist, who develops killer machines and sends them to the Commonwealth. Players have to fight back by building their own army of robots. One of the most exciting parts in the DLC is that players can create a customized robot from different materials. They have to hunt down the best robot parts to create a robo-companion.
Forbes said the robot-themed DLC is something straight out of Battlebots 2277. Also, the new weapons on display are interesting. For interested gamers who want to buy the Automatron DLC, it is available for $10. See its trailer below.
Aside from Automatron, there are two more upcoming DLC for Fallout 4. The second expansion pack is called Wasteland Workshop, which will be released on April. The expansion pack introduces Pokemon-like gameplay in the Wasteland. This $6 add-on is smaller than Automatron.
The biggest DLC pack of Fallout 4 this year is the Far Harbor, which is scheduled to be available on May. This expansion pack features all-new adventures in the Coast of Maine. In addition, it offers new settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons. Players can also expect new, higher-level armor and weapons.
Fallout 4 Season Pass owners can have an exclusive access to all of the expansion packs. However, for those who didn't purchase the season pass before March 1 and still interested in buying it, they have to pay the new, higher price of $49.99 instead of the original $29.99 price.
