It seems that Square Enix is gearing up for something big this year. The game developer is expected to release the Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy 7 remake in the next couple of months. Now, here's the latest about when are the release date of Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 7 remake.

Let's start with the rumors about Final Fantasy 15. PC Advisor reported that the launching of Final Fantasy XV worldwide is on Friday, September 30 2016. It is also reported that the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Furthermore, the release date will be officially announced on "Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV," which will happen on March 30 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The next installment in the Final Fantasy series is an open world role-playing game. Kingdom Hearts' Director Tetsuya Nomura spearheaded the developments of the game. He added action-based battle system in the fifteenth Final Fantasy game, so it will have an appeal to Kingdom Hearts fans.

The battle scenes in FFXV happen in a robust 3D environment, where characters can run and jump freely. Additionally, players have plenty of weapons to select, and they can choose to drive a car or ride the iconic Chocobo to explore the open world environment.

Interestingly, there is a day and night system that syncs to the gameplay. One in-game day is equivalent to one hour of playtime, so players have to sleep in a hotel or camp to maintain their strength. The monsters also change depending on the time of the day, and there is a weather system to make FFXV realistic.

Final Fantasy XV is now available for pre-orders. Visit Game and Amazon for more information.

Meanwhile, here's the latest news about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. In an official blog post, game director Yoshinori Kitase said the remake of FFVII will go beyond the expectation of the fans. It will also have big improvements from the original game, which was released in 1997.

Several news websites predict the Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be released by 2017 in PS4 version. As of now, Square Enix has not yet revealed the firm release date of the game.
