Gamers are now excited for the return of Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockheart. The upcoming Final Fantasy 7 remake will have a new combat system. Director Tetsuya Nomura said that it would be better if the remake were based on Dissidia. However, the Dissidia-esque style will only be felt through visuals and gameplay. Now, here's the latest round up of update about Final Fantasy 7 remake.

The remake moves away from the traditional-based battle system. According to Game Informer, producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that director Nomura wants the remake to be represented by Dissidia. By doing so, player will become familiar in the game. Kitase also said that the graphics of the game will be in the same level as Advent Children.

Dissidia Final Fantasy, released in 2008, is a fighting game blended with action RPG element

It is reported that the game will be in multi-part format. Final Fantasy 7 will be a full-scale game in each multi-part series. Producer Kitase explained it by comparing the Final Fantasy 7's format to Final Fantasy 13. He said that FF13's installment are told in different angles per installment, while there is pre-existing story that encompasses the whole multi-part series.

As of the moment, the number of installments for the multi-part series is not yet announced. However, producer Kitase said that they already have the idea on how many installments will be included in the game. They can't just share this information yet because it may change along the process of remake.

Furthermore, Metro News reported that elements from the compilation of Final Fantasy 7 games will be included. These games are Before Crisis, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, and also Advent Children -- a CGI movie. However, some of the characters from the compilation are not guaranteed to appear in the remake.

"But if there are any areas where we can use the settings or the characters, we do want to try to incorporate it in there," Kitase added. He also stated that the remake would have changes to the script, and it will also offer new features and gameplay.

The remake is confirmed to appear at E3 2015. It is expected to be launched on September 30. Moreover, FF7 will be available first on PS4.

Final Fantasy 7 remake is a re-do of the Playstation One RPG game title for PS4. The remake will be published by Square Enix.
