After the release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on PS4 last year, the remastered collection is now set to be played on PC. It will be available this month on Steam. Now, here's the latest round-up of update about Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster PC release date, features and price.

The PC version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is expected to be available on May 13. The remastered bundle comes just a month after game publisher and developer Square Enix launched an HD remaster of Final Fantasy IX for PC. According to the Steam website, the bundle will include all of the same features found in PlayStation 4. So, it is also based on the international releases, which feature additional contents like Expert Sphere Grid and Dark Greons that were not available in North American release. Square Enix's role-playing games will also contain full Japanese audio in addition to subtitles.

Furthermore, the upcoming version will be in high-definition for a better, richer, and deeper Final Fantasy visual experience. According to a Tech Times report, environments, characters, and monsters have been tuned to HD detail. It will also contain an autosave feature and five boosters, including High Speed and Safe Travel mode.

The bundle also offers a rearranged and remastered soundtrack of the game's background music. Also, there are contents from the international releases of both games.

Gamers must not worry for the PC port of re-worked Final Fantasy. According to HNGN, the game is lenient regarding the specs. It only recommends a couple of gigs of RAM,  a GeForce GTX 450, a quad-core processor, and an operating system like Windows Vista or later. However, a fair amount of hard drive space is needed. The game demands at least 37 GB.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 will support Steam Cloud saves, trading cards and achievements. It will also offer partial support for gamepads.

There is still no update for the price of Final Fantasy X/X-2 in PC. Steam's website does not indicate the bundle's cost. However, there are rumors that the compilation will be available for $30 once it is released.

The upcoming Final Fantasy collection is the latest in a long line of remasters that the game developer has in store for gamers. Final Fantasy X/X-2 were remade for PS3 and PS Vita. Both games had several additional improvements that lead into a PS4 launch compilation in 2015.
