You should be playing GTA V Heists before its PC release.

Considering the popularity around Rockstar Games Grand Theft Auto (GTA) franchise, it is no wonder why diehard players are greatly anticipating the release of DLC (downloadable content) packs of extra Heists missions for GTA V.  These Heists have been delayed for a while, but it is possible that we have a release date, as well as some more information about the Heists themselves.

According to KDrama Stars, the GTA V Online Heists release date is going to be on February 27, 2015.  In fact, gamers should be expecting an announcement about it earlier than that.  This announcement is expected to come this week, but the week is almost over.

Rockstar has already stated that GTA V Online Heists will be released before GTA V gets released for the PC, and that official release date is March 24, after a lot of rescheduling and delays.  Rockstar Games knows about fans' expectations, and they have issued a lot of public apology statements about why there has been a delay, and how it will be so worth it when the DLC does finally get released.

As for the Heists, we have recently heard some information on the Latin Times that doesn't really talk about what the players will do, but what characters will be involved.  Apparently Lester and Jeff won't be the only ones assigning missions, but brand new characters models have been prepared including Trevor, Lester, Chef, Eddie Toh, and Michelle.  They might not be characters the player can work, but they could be some NPCs (Non-Player Characters).

The DLC Heists update for GTA V will be free for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3, Sony PlayStation 4, as well as the PC version.  DomisLive has had a lot to say about leaks on the Heists missions.  DomisLive has had his YouTube channel taken down due to policy violations, but is still considered quite a good source for GTA V developments.

Prison Van Rescue CnC

The CnC stands for Cops and Crooks, and this involves crooks stealing a news van in order to reach a fellow gang member.  Once the gang member is in the van, the Cops will come out, and you will have to lose them before getting back to the gang house.

Hostage Deal CnC Mission

As the name implies, it is about recovering a hostage from a gang.  In this case, you are trying to get a hostage from an NPC (nonplayable character) gang as players move this hostage to a new safe house.  There are even players that act as cops to stop the biker gang.

Weapons Deal CnC Mission and Stealing Artifacts from the Military Base

In this mission, you have to track down a criminal who is hiding out, and deliver him to the cops.  In exchange, the crooked cops will exchange some weapons for some cash.  Speaking of weapons, the "stealing artifacts from the military base" has a mission description of "Vikings gang members have to steal an artifact from the military base while cops are required to secure the item and bring it back to the army base".

Ornate Bank and Country Bank Heist

There are two bank robbery capers that players can get involved in.  The Ornate Bank Heist involves breaking through a bank counter, unlocking a tough vault, and dropping off the money at a secure location.  The Country Bank Heist involves robbing a rural bank, get the cashier to open the vault, and getting to the safe house.  Both of these missions allow 16 cops and 4 criminals for participation.

Grand Theft Auto V can be purchased now for the Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, and PS3, and the DLC Online Heists updates should be available sometime before the end of March 2015, just before GTA V comes to the PC.
