Even though the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) just started today, that didn't stop Lenovo from unveiling the newest version of the popular 2-in-1 laptop Yoga 900S two days before it.  It looks like the minor improvements could add up to one major improvement from this reputable company, and this is everything that is known about the Yoga 900S Release Date, Price, and Specs as discovered at CES 2016.

According to The Verge, Lenovo unveiled another form of its 2-in-1 laptop/tablet with the 900S.  The 900S is thinner and lighter (2.2 pounds) than the Yoga 900, which has proved to be an enormous success for the company.

The 900 S is also slightly smaller than before with a 12.5-inch QHD panel, as opposed to the 13-inch display of the previous year.  How thin is this device?  Lenovo claims that the Yoga 900S is the "world's thinnest convertible laptop" at just 0.5 inches thick.  It can achieve this weight loss with the help of some of Intel's Core M processors as well as some new carbon fiber construction.

The Yoga series is famous for its four modes.  The first is the laptop, which is your typical keyboard on the desk while the screen is at angle mode.  The second is the tablet, with the keyboard folded up completely and the touchscreen-ready to use like the average tablet.  The third is the tent, with the tablet in an upside-down V formation with the touchscreen on the outside.  The fourth is the stand, which tilts the screen away from the keyboard, making it good for just viewing content.

All four of the modes of the Yoga 900S use the Watchband hinge, which is crafted from hundreds of individual pieces of aluminum and steel.  The watchband hinge, which was something that the company was very proud about, has pretty much remained the same.  This hinge has been compared to Rolex bands and allows for more stable touch usage as it can lay flat at 180 degrees.  Also included is Dolby Audio for great sound,

Something new is an optional active pen so both it can be used to write on that screen.

In addition to the Yoga 900S, Lenovo introduced the Yoga mouse.  It is essentially a mouse that helps the user when he or she is traveling, and it is made to fit with the 900S aesthetically.  The user can also switch from normal mouse mode over to a remote control to allow media playback and volume on any Windows machine.  The mouse has a middle button to access Windows 10, and it will be out in April for a price $69.99.

Lenovo also seven other new laptops, as well as some desktops and monitors for the Yoga series revealed at CES.

The Lenovo Yoga 900 S comes in two color options of gold and silver.  According to the Lenovo Newsroom, it will start at $1,099 and will be available in March 2016.
