LG's G Flex series does not seem to be popular in the market. There are reports that say the LG Inc. will stop the development of LG G Flex 3, according to South Korean website Daum.

However, the reports about the development of LG Flex 2 are still unconfirmed. But some fans hope that the third-generation LG Flex will be released in the second quarter of 2016 if not in the CES 2016, which kicks off in the roughly  three weeks' time.

Daum website did not mention if the G flex line-up of curved devices has been scrapped altogether, but there is still no official word from the company yet.

For the LG G Flex 2, it is set to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, according to Neurogadget. Other LG phones such as LG G4, LG G3 and LG G Style on carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon will also receive the upgrade anytime this year.

LG has definitely made promises in the past that their subscribers are going to receive the Android M update.  Nevertheless, Google's Nexus series was actually the first to get it, but LG seems committed to getting it out as soon as possible.

Going to back to the reports about CES 2016, LG is expected to give its subscribers a sneak peak of gadgets in the pipeline for 2016. The second largest tech-giant in South Korea has a sweet tooth for mystery, as fans can only speculate what might be announced or showcased during CES 2016.

Some LG fans speculate that the G Flex 3 might be announced in the said event. Last year, LG did not say anything about the G Flex 2 until they unveiled it at the end of 2014. Fans hope that the company might do it again for G Flex 3.

In a review from Tech Radar, it says the LG G Flex 2 has new dimensions and a much better display that makes it look cool. The phone is noticeably smaller and easier to hold with a 5.5-inch screen, which matches the display size of the LG G3. The previous Flex was a full 6 inches.

It has a  high-resolution P-OLED touchscreen that's 1080p. For its processing capability, the phone is powered with a faster Snapdragon processor and speedier RAM than its predecessors.

The second generation of G flex offers trendy design for meticulous gadget lovers. As the name suggests, the phone features a slight curve from top to bottom. Its curvature goes from a 400mm to a 700mm radius. It's a little more durable by flexing, a little more immersive for multimedia viewing and a little better-sounding during phone calls.
