It seems like that every original series for Netflix has turned to gold.  Not only was Marvel related franchises like Daredevil and Jessica Jones considered big, but Aziz Ansari's Master of None is considered one of last year's best shows.  It should come as no surprise that Aziz will be back for another season for his semi-autobiographical series, and this is what is known about the release date and story, possibly to take place in Italy.

Yes, iDigitalTimes has noted that a lot of the Indian comedian's Instagram posts come from Italy.  At least, the photos of the food that he is eating is native Italian food.  One of them has this caption:  "Living in Italy for a while so abandon my gram if you don't like photos of delicious food. This was in Modena. Prosciutto with pumpkin, insane. (Questo panino era molto buono. Con zucca e prosciutto.)"

So why is Aziz in Italy?  It is probably due to Master of None?  If you saw the first season, Dev decided to move to Italy to attend pasta-making school after his relationship with Rachel ended with a sudden breakup.  So it is possible that Master of None Season 2 will be based in Italy, or at least the first few episodes, continuing the story where it left off.

For those that aren't watching Master of None, the show involves Aziz Ansari playing a wannabe actor named Dev Shah living in New York City.  Episodes involve him in relationships that are occasionally not meaningful, as well as an attempt to get his acting career going.

The show's set-up is that sense of semi-biographical realism that can be found on FX's Louie and other shows that don't hold back from showing that life can be very unfair to downright cruel. Dev had many friends that he interacted with in Season 1, and it would be odd for Aziz to leave the show's established New York City setting and characters for an Italian backdrop.

Of course, there could be a lot of things happening in Season 2.   Bustle reveals that Aziz and co-showrunner Alan Yang have no shortage of ideas.  Aziz has quite a career as a professional comedian and book author as well as an actor, and he has several ideas about relationships and other subjects that haven't been yet explored on his show in Season 1.

So when will Netflix subscribers get to see Master of None Season 2?  Considering that the series began last year, Season 2 will begin...next year.  For some reason, the show is delayed until 2017, for some reason, and perhaps that reason is the setting in Italy.
