It has been two years since Michael Schumacher suffered his debilitating ski accident while vacationing with his family in the French Alps.  The severe head injuries required him to be put in a medically induced coma, and he didn't recover until April 2014.  In spite of this spotlight from the seven-time Formula One champion, there hasn't really been any news of his Health condition.  A report that was deemed false by his manager looked to show some good news.

According to the International Business Times, a German news portal known as Bunte.de reported that Schumacher had lost a significant amount of weight, looking "very thin."  The report then went on to say that the 46-year-old former race car driver champion is able to walk a few steps with the help of his therapist, and can even raise his arm.

In spite of the fact that the reporter was able to quote a source close to the situation, Sabine Kehm, Schumacher's manager quickly rebuked the claim.  She states that "such speculation is irresponsible because, given the seriousness of his injuries, Michael's privacy is very important to him."

It is very clear that Schumacher and his family do not want to be bothered about Michael's condition, and this is not the first time that false reports have gone out about Michael Schumacher.  This does lead to the question of how Michael Schumacher really is doing, as he has been undergoing extensive rehabilitation in his Lake Geneva mansion.

A lot of Schumacher's fans went to Twitter to comment on how they would like a word on Michael's true condition as they cannot stand the silence from Schumacher's family and manager.  The VC Post states that Schumacher is undergoing an extensive rehabilitation program, but his recovery is coming at quite a slow pace with medical experts saying that he may never have a complete recovery.

Most are concerned about the high cost of his medical bills, which are calculated to be weekly at €143,000.  Considering the blanket of silence that has surrounded the Schumachers, it is not certain how that figure could have been derived.  There are reports of Schumacher's wife, Corinna, selling their jet last spring and putting their French chalet up for sale as well.

There are also reports that FIA President and close friend Jean Todt visits Michael regularly, but he doesn't report any major signs of improvement.  Kehm does occasionally report some improvement but doesn't go into any specifics.

Over one year ago, the official Michael Schumacher website was relaunched to mark the 20th anniversary of the driver's first world championship. The site provides visitors a place to send messages to his wife and kids called "How to Wish Michael Well."

Most of the official Michael Schumacher site is devoted to stories of him as a racing legend, but visitors can leave a personalized message by adding a hashtag of #keepfightingmichael to their tweets, which might take a while before it appears on the official site.
