The new four fighters of Mortal Kombat X Pack 2 have been unveiled last year, particularly at the Game Awards. However, some gamers are confused why NetherRealm Studios include Triborg and Bo' Rai Cho in the new set of upcoming characters, apparently there's a reason behind this.

Mortal Kombat players are reading many teasers from Ed Boon, creator of the game. However, fans are confused why Tri-borg is included in the new set of characters. In a statement published in IGN, the creator responded to a question about if gamers will have a story-based DLC in the next update, Boon said, "We've talked about it. It's a lot of data, a lot of content, but that's absolutely part of a long-term plan."

Boon and his co-developers is also thinking about many different fighters to add in the game.  These characters include Michael Myers from Halloween and The Terminator.

According to Slash Gear, Kombat Pack 2 characters are Leatherface from the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Xenomorph from Alien, Bo Rai Cho, a classic Mortal Kombat fighter, and Tri-Borg, a combination of Sektor, Cyrax and Robot Smoke.  The four characters were unveiled at the Dec. 3 Game Awards, which was held in Los Angeles.

For the second set of characters, the game creators said they would release Jason Voorhees, Predator, Tanya, and Tremor next year.
