Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant has been the center of trade talks since news of his 2016 free agency contract came out. Various NBA teams immediately took to the front office the possibility of signing the phenomenal basketball star. One of the most talked about NBA team that is reportedly aggressively eyeing Durant is the Houston Rockets. Apart from the James Harden squad, the Toronto Raptors are also pegged as serious contenders in a potential trade or signing.

It is widely known that the current star of the Houston Rockets roster, Harden, played with the Oklahoma City Thunder before his breakout season. As the rumored boyfriend of Khloe Kardashian makes waves in the NBA community, fans of the team feel that an element is missing from the roster. Although Dwight Howard and Ty Lawson offer sufficient support, the entry of Durant in the Houston Rockets will undeniably bolster the team's performance. Moreover, the close relationship of Harden and Durant will be a great factor in establishing their chemistry in the hardwood court.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors appear to be just as serious as the Houston Rockets. While the Houston Rockets are reportedly eyeing eliminating or adjusting contracts to offer Durant a hefty sum, the Kyle Lowry squad wants to strike a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. That is, the Landry Fields team is purportedly willing to trade basketball star DeMar Rozan for Durant. The shooting guard is known as one of the best assets of the Toronto Raptors. Given his stats, some sports analysts believe that the Oklahoma City Thunder might consider this trade before Durant's contract expires.

It appears, though, that Durant remains adamant on his refusal to seriously consider the offers. In fact, the Oklahoma City Thunder star opts to keep mum on the deals. Presumably, Durant has not yet heard of an offer that truly interests him.

"I just try to go about every day, just focus on one day," said Durant via ESPN. He added, "I don't think about the future too hard. I'll worry about that stuff when I get there. I've been saying 'I don't know' for a long, long time, but I'm really just focused on our team, happy I'm playing again, and that kind of takes over. I haven't thought about that. I'll worry about that when I get there."

"Nobody wants to turn the ball over," Durant said. "It's frustrating for myself, but I'm not one of those guys that's going to walk out of here with my head in my hands because I had 10 turnovers. It's not the first time I've had a lot of turnovers, so just gotta be better next game. That's all it is for me."

As for his current NBA season, Durant openly admitted that his performance in the game against the Sacramento Kings was poor. The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the DeMarcus Cousins squad at 98-95. However, teammate Russell Westbrook remained supportive of Durant.

"That's what your best player does," Westbrook shared via ESPN. He added, "He's not going to play perfect every night. But as you can see, he closed the game for us and did a good job defensively and finished the game for us."
