Even though the last GOP debate just concluded (without Donald Trump) on Fox News, the Republicans are going to go into another debate happening on February 6th. This is what is known about the Next Republican Debate including that station (ABC), Start Time, LiveStream (how to watch online), and Criteria for Candidates.
This next debate will air on ABC, and they announced the criteria for it last Wednesday, according to CBS News. There are three different ways that a candidate can make it to the stage, the first is a candidate can place among the top three candidates, ranked according to the popular vote at the Iowa GOP Caucuses taking place on Monday. The second is by placing among the top six candidates in an average of New Hampshire GOP presidential polls that are recognized by ABC News, and said polls must have been conducted no earlier than January 1st and be released before 5 PM ET next Friday. The final method of qualification is by placing among the top six candidates in an average of national GOP presidential polls recognized by the ABC News.
The February 6 debate takes place just three days before voters in New Hampshire head to the polls. CNN Money calls this new criterion a way to "say goodbye to undercard debates," as it will feature just one debate, and that debate will exclude bottom-tier candidates. At this point, this would keep Rand Paul, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, and Rick Santorum off the debate stage, leaving candidates Ben Carson, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Donald Trump, and others there.
The Republican Debate will air on ABC and will take place at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. ABC News anchors David Muir and Martha Raddatz will moderate the debate, along with WMUR Political Director Josh McElveen. The Independent Journal Review is also a media partner with the debate, which starts at 5 PM Pacific Time, according to the ABC Go Schedule and it should be 8 PM Eastern Time. For those that want to live stream or watch the event online, ABC is most likely the site that you will want to go to, but there hasn't been any official information released about it yet.
The next debate will take place on Saturday, February 13 at The Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina, and will air on CBS News, moderated by John Dickerson. The next Republican debate will take place on Thursday, February 25 at the University of Houston, and will air on CNN and Telemundo. As for the next Democratic Primary Debate, it actually could come earlier than its expected February 11th date.
