The Republicans have a lot of debates scheduled for 2016, and they will have their second January 2016 debate on January 28th on Fox News.  There is going to be a lot of YouTube presence at the debate as it is on the agenda, but no solid news on how to live stream or watch online.  There is also not a reliable candidate list, as Fox News is waiting on poll results.  Here is what is known about the Republican GOP Debate on January 28.

According to The Verge, Fox News will rely on Google Trends data and YouTube celebrities to come up with questions for the candidates and also track topics of interest throughout the night.  It is the same type of partnership that NBC News used for the last Democratic debate, and Fox has found that working with social media sites like Facebook has done well. In fact, the first Republican Debate that happened last August was the most televised non-sporting cable event in TV history with 24 million views.

According to Mediaite, Fox News tonight released its criteria for the next Republican debate, and any candidate who wants to be in the debate needs to be in the top six spots nationally in an average of the five most recent polls, or at the very least be in the top five in Iowa in New Hampshire in an average of state polls.  The results of these polls won't be up until next Tuesday, two days before the debate, which means the number of candidates could shrink.

There is going to be an earlier undercard debate, and qualifying for it is easier as candidates need to hit at least one percent in one of Fox's five most recent national polls.

The Republican debate will take place at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines on Thursday, January 28th, from 9 PM to 11 PM Eastern Time. The hosts include Donald Trump opponent and Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, and Special Reports host Bret Baier, the same three hosts for the first Republican debate in August of last year.

As for those that want to live stream or watch online, there doesn't seem to be any news of how to do that as yet.  Considering the presence of YouTube celebrities at the event, it really should be made available, and checking Fox News for updates would be wise, and this link on YouTube promises it.

The Republicans have three debates scheduled for the month of February, according to US Presidential Election News.  The first will be on February 6, at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, and it will be broadcasted by ABC News, moderated by David Muir and Martha Raddatz.  The next debate after the February 6th one will take place on Saturday, February 13 at The Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina, and will air on CBS News, moderated by John Dickerson.  The next Republican debate will take place on Thursday, February 25 at the University of Houston, and will air on CNN and Telemundo.  As for the next Democratic Primary Debate, it is scheduled to take place on Monday, January 25, at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. It will air on CNN at 9 PM ET (8 PM CT, 7 PM MT, and 6 PM PT), and be moderated by Chris Cuomo.
