The San Francisco 49ers have been struggling to outperform their opponents since the beginning of the 2015 NFL Preseason. While fans and followers of the NFL team can always defend the abysmal plays by saying that the regular season games are the only ones that truly matter, it remains a fact that the preseason matches are good indicators of what could be expected from the players. Judging from the gameplays and the execution of strategies in the San Francisco 49ers roster, it looks like the NFL team have a lot of catching up to do if they intend to not become the laughing stock of the football community come the regular NFL season.

One of the most problematic aspects of the San Francisco 49ers' gameplay is the offensive line. With a clearly weak offense, the NFL team consistently fail to protect quarterback Colin Kaepernick. This failure on the part of the players in the offensive line translates to incomplete passes and a relatively pitiful performance of the San Francisco 49ers. However, sports analysts believe that the fault does not entirely rest on the NFL stars in the offensive line.

According to Grant Cohn of The Press Democrat, San Francisco 49ers star Colin Kaepernick is also at fault. Pointing out that the NFL quarterback tends to linger in handling the ball, Cohn shares that the San Francisco 49ers star must let go of the ball quickly to avoid hinging the NFL team's gameplays on their weak offensive lines. Furthermore, Cohn discloses that such technique of quickly passing the ball has been used by NFL team with "shaky offensive lines" in the past.

"Take Peyton Manning," shared Cohn, referring to the quarterback of the Denver Broncos. The sports analyst added, "He plays behind a shaky offensive line. So last season he got rid of the ball in 2.22 seconds on average. Sacked only 17 times. Tom Brady took 2.34 seconds to throw on average in 2014. Sacked only 21 times. Ben Roethlisberger - 2.43 seconds. Sacked 33 times." Cohn then went on to share that the San Francisco 49ers quarterback let go of the ball after 2.68, which caused him to get sacked a total of 52 times. He also observed that the San Francisco 49ers quarterback actually holds the ball longer than Philadelphia Eagles star Tim Tebow, who has an average of 3.17 seconds. The sports expert further noted, "He tends to hold the ball a beat too long, then tries to make up for waiting by throwing hard. Sometimes waiting leads to sacks that shouldn't happen."

Meanwhile, the rumors surrounding the potential inclusion of rugby star Jarryd Hayne have been going wild lately. With the positive comments regarding the Aussie athlete's performance, it appears that he managed to land a secure spot in the NFL roster of the San Francisco 49ers. However, Matt Barrows of Sacramento Bee points out that adding Jarryd Hayne in the San Francisco 49ers roster would mean an "awful lot of running backs." Hence, it would still be a possibility for the aspiring NFL star to be cut from the San Francisco 49ers.
