PlayStation Plus subscribers always enjoy the free games that change with every month. The ones for December 2015 have already been announced, and with the month being more than half-over, many PlayStation Plus subscribers are looking forward to what free games will be available for January 2016 and the rest of next year.
A recent prediction from Gamer Dude via YouTube video has made some interesting January 2015 predictions for the PS3 such as PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) 2016. Another PS3 prediction is Back to the Future, the RPG from Telltale Games.
As for the PS4, it also looks like Vote To Play is coming back. Vote to Play was pretty popular back in September, and it could begin on December 24, 2015 in order to elect the game to play for the month of January 2016. Nothing official has been announced, but PlayStation Plus promised that they were going to do Vote to Play a few times a year, so it is actually due.
A recent post on the PlayStation Forum has some predictions as to what free games will be available for PlayStation Plus subscribers for January 2016. The PS3 will be Watch Dogs, and this game usually surfaces when it comes to predictions for PlayStation Plus free games. Perhaps it will show up sometime next year, as Watch Dogs 2 is believed to be under development. The other free game for the PS3 is Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. For the PS Vita, it will be Grim Fandango Remastered and Senran Kagura Shinobi Versus. For the PS4, it will be an Amplitude remake, as well as one Indie game, because the PS4 usually gets one of those for free in the month.
It is still possible to still play these titles from December 2015:
PS4 subscribers can play the first chapter of the new "re-imagining" of the King's Quest series with Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember. The original King's Quest was a Sierra Games franchise where players would point and click to solve puzzles and go on a fantasy adventure, and this new version takes some elements from the old and adds a very new spin to it that will delight gamers from now and then.
Also available for the PS4 is Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. The game is a reboot from back in 2014, and the Slayer Edition is a free update for the PC version and a standalone $20 release on the PlayStation 4, according to IGN.
For the PlayStation Vita, users can access Freedom Wars, a Japanese action role-playing game. The last free game available for the PS Vita is Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken.
PS3 users can also have access to SSX, a 2012 game that is about Snowboarding, even though Snowboarding is only partially in its title (SSX stand for Snowboarding, Surfing, and MotoCross). Also available for the PS3 is Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Considering that Far Cry Primal is due out next year, it makes sense that this one is available.
