Sony is set to announce the PlayStation Plus free games for June 2016 this week. It only costs $9.99 to become a member of PlayStation Plus Program, and it comes with lots of perks and freebies. Next month, latest reports say Sony could offer a Triple AAA title and a bunch of indie titles. Now, here's the latest update about game predictions for PlayStation Plus free games for June 2016.
In a Twitter post, PlayStation Plus Community Manager says subscribers might have to wait a little longer for the announcement of June's titles. Next week, Sony is expected to roll out the six new games for PlayStation 4 (PS 4), PlayStation 3 (PS 3), and PlayStation Vita (PS Vita). PlayStation Plus members might receive a notification from Sony sometime between June 1 and June 7.
However, some rumours say Sony accidentally leaked the details about the next month's line-up. The gaming company sends a weekly newsletter to every PlayStation Network user, and it inadvertently revealed two of the six games for June.
In a screenshot published it Gear Nuke, it shows basketball simulation game NBA 2k16 and adventure exploration game Gone Home could be included in the next month's line-up.
Interestingly, Sony could offer NBA 2k16 in preparation for NBA 2K17 release this September. The NBA 2016 Finals is also coming, so it is a good strategy to give fans a treat. On the other hand, Gone Home is a remarkable first-person adventure game that has a great storyline.
Another possible AAA title for PlayStation Plus for June 2016 is Resident Evil: HD Remaster. Gaming analysts say the inclusion of this game in the next month's line-up is a great way to promote Resident Evil 7, which is expected to be revealed at June's E3 conference.
Meanwhile, Microsoft recently announced the Xbox Live with Gold free games for June. Xbox One owners will be able to access Goat Simulator ($9.99 ERP) and The Crew ($29.99 ERP) next month. For Xbox 360, Super Meat Boy ($14.99 ERP) and XCOM: Enemy Unknown ($39.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members.
With that said, Sony might offer better titles to compete with the Xbox Live program. PlayStation Plus service previously received complaints from subscribers for the lack of good titles every month. Therefore, the program could provide a triple AAA game alongside with some indie games.
