Every new Pokémon game that hits the market will definitely come with its fair share of new Pokémon. This means the mantra of “Gotta catch ‘em all!” will never run old, that is for sure! After all, there has to be some sort of catalyst that ensures you will continue playing the game long after it has been released, and along the way, hope that others in your circle of influence would end up hooked to gain a snowball effect in the number of Pokémon trainers. Well, the whole Pokédex of Pokémon Sun and Moon is said to have leaked alongside its demo release earlier this month.
Thankfully, we now have names as well as types of the starter Pokémon's final evolutions -- and in the latest trailer which was unveiled to the masses last Thursday, we were treated to the likes of Deicdueye, Incineroar and Primarina, in addition to other new Pokémon that have been seen before, although have not been named. Check out their final evolutions in the video below.
Rowlet’s final evolution (for now at least -- you can never tell when Pokémon’s creators might come up with some sort of ultra or super duper evolution in the future) would be known as Decidueye. Decidueye is certainly a far cry from Rowlet’s humble grass-type starter, ending up as a grass/ghost-type.
As for Incineroar, it is the final evolution from the extremely petite Litten. Incineroar will definitely keep fans happy, as it would end up as a fire/dark-type, as opposed to part-fighting which was being bandied about in rumors earlier on. The fighting type is not exactly the most popular of types in terms of sheer destructive power.
As for Popplio's evolutionary line, it would end with the primadonna-like Primarina, which is a water/fairy-type. Certainly a whole lot more appealing than those pesky My Little Pony characters, at least in my sight.
While these three final evolutions are the ones that have made news, what are some of the other Pokémon which will also appear? It seems that the new Pokémon will include a couple more island guardians, namely Tapu Lele and Tapu Bulu, as well as the cute and cloudy Cosmog. You might also want to roll out the red carpet for Alolan Persian.
In terms of Pokémon Sun and Moon, there will be new features to keep the game company when it is released next month. For instance, the Alola region has already dropped gyms which is something unprecedented, preferring instead the Island Challenge Trials. Not only that, there should be its own championship league being formed too, and players are able to do their bit to open the door for it to end up as part of an official Pokémon League.
Pokémon Sun and Moon are set to arrive on the Nintendo 3DS platform this November 18, and if you simply cannot wait any longer, you can always settle for a free demo that is currently available on the Nintendo eShop. Do expect a slew of new Nintendo 3DS models that will come with Pokémon Sun and Moon variants that are sure to sell a ton -- never mind that you already own a Nintendo 3DS in the first place.
