Nintendo certainly pulled no punches when they announced that they would be introducing new Pokemon titles to the mix, even hot off the heels of the Pokemon Go phenomenon. The new titles would be known as Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, where it will take place in a new area with the promise of even more Pokemon to catch -- not to mention the introduction of additional elements that will greatly increase the permutations and combinations when it comes to duking it out with your fellow trainers.
The recently released demo for both Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon has also racked up a rather impressive figure in terms of downloads even on the very first day of October 18 itself. In fact, we are talking about 3.5 million downloads within the first week of the demo’s release, and it also helped a great deal that the demo encourages repeat plays in order to figure out the nuances before the real deal arrives later this month.
Pre-load Pokemon Sun and Moon today
Basically, if you are a hardcore Pokemon fan who would like to get started as soon as possible, you would do well to pre-order it -- and this would enable you to pre-load the game so that you can play it the moment Pokemon Sun and Moon go live. Digital pre-orders via the Nintendo 3DS eShop would pave open the door for folks to download the title, although it will not unlock until November 18, 2016 -- talk about a slow torture, where in this case, there is no way for you to unwrap it before November 18, only to put it back again like your Christmas presents.
Each download for Pokemon Sun and Moon will take up to 3.2GB of storage space, so make sure that you have the right amount of free space left before you proceed with the pre-loading. To entice you further, if you purchase the game before January 11, 2017, you would be on the receiving end of a Munchlax with Snorlium Z. Life is good, isn't it?
Of course, in order to add to the overall excitement, there will be exclusive new Nintendo 3DS consoles that will feature designs which have been inspired by the upcoming Pokemon titles. In fact, you can be sure that there will be a whole lot more Nintendo 3DS portable consoles that will be sold with the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon -- it has always been the case, and that should add to the already 60 million plus Nintendo 3DS units that have been sold until June this year.
The special Nintendo 3DS version which will roll out in conjunction with the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon release would pay plenty of attention to the different legendaries where Solgaleo would moonlight (pardon the pun) for Sun, while Lunala shines brightly for Moon. Those living in North America would be able to enjoy Pokemon Sun and Moon this coming November 18, 2016, while folks who live across the pond will have to wait for less than a week more as both titles hit their shores on November 23, 2016.
We also know that the player’s starter Pokemon would be Ash-Greninja, although we would not be surprised if most trainers would end up using other Pokemon that they have come to know and love, not to mention are a whole lot more familiar with.
