Fans of the Pokémon franchise have been loving the games, comics, anime, and all other related merchandise for years. They have also been awaiting the release of two long-awaited games like Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO. This is the latest news on the release dates of Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO.
Pokémon Z isn't really the official name of the game, but it is the long-awaited sequel to Pokémon X and Y. Generally, a Pokémon game has a legendary creature get their own game and Zygarde, a Pokémon that starts with the letter "Z" looks to be getting his.
There hasn't really been a lot of news since we last reported on the franchise, as CoroCoro magazine was rumored to have more information about the game, but only had some interesting views of Zygarde.
The news was just certain shots of the monster revealed that there will be certain forms of Zygarde, and one of them will be a 50 percent form, with another full form having two colors on its wings. It is possible that Zygarde is some kind of fusion of two beings, which is similar to something out of Pokémon X &Y.
It seems like Pokémon has not just come out and said whether or not that this rumor is true, and that is the same information that Pokémon fans have for the release date of Pokémon GO. Most seem to believe that Pokémon Z and Pokémon GO will have an exact release date, with one game included with the other.
Pokémon GO is a bold step for the company as it is a location-based game for both Google Play and iOS. The game will allow players to go to real-life places and use augmented reality to seek out pocket monsters (where the name Pokémon is derived from) to capture and train. Pokémon has been working with Niantic, creators of the successful location-based game Ingress, to make this come to life.
It certainly will breathe life into the franchise that is about two decades old, but several of the fans who were children at the time have all grown up and had children of their own. This might be a good way for parents and children to play together for Pokémon hunting trips.
By the way, some of the Pokémon could be harder to find and be location-specific. Like those that live near water might be able to get more water-based Pokémon, according to MNR Daily. For those that will be fortunate or unfortunate to live near a place where Pokémon can be found, expect a lot of Pokémon GO player visitors. Yes, there could be an issue with trespassing if this game becomes popular, which it is expected to be.
In fact, Pokémon intends to release a wristband that you can see in the image that looks like a Pokémon Ball. This accessory is not required to play the game, but it will make it a lot of fun.
