Sega and publisher Deep Silver announced that one of the most awaited Japanese role-playing games will be coming to Europe. European gamers should expect Persona 5 will be available on their region very soon.
Engadget reported Sega and Deep Silver teamed up to release digital and physical versions of games in Europe, including titles from Atlas (a subsidiary of Sega). The deal covers Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, 7th Dragon III Code: VFD and Persona 5. Gaming analysts say these RPG titles will definitely make huge impact on European gaming market.
"In entering this partnership with Deep Silver, I am truly delighted we will be able to release our titles in the European regions," CEO of Atlus U.S.A. and VP of Sega Publishing Naoto Hiraoka told in VentureBeat. However, the game's firm release date on Europe has not yet revealed.
For gamers outside Europe, Persona 5 will become available on September 15 in Japan and on February 14, 2017 in the US.
As for the game's new features, expect there will be wide variety of challenging demons and a bunch new of enemies. Also, its user interface is described as beautiful and so striking, making it more appealing than other RPG titles.
Polygon said one of the biggest additions in Persona 5 is the return of the negotiation system, which would help gamers to eliminate demons. On top of that, the "All-Out Attack" system will be coming back in the game, allowing gamers to defeat an entire team of demons with one attack.
Furthermore, the "1 MORE" attack will be introduced. Persona 5 will also bring some new mechanics for gamers. There will be conversion system that allows them to interact with demons, where items, powers and money can be traded to launch and an All-Out Attack.
Persona 5 follows a ragtag group of high school students that discovered a mysterious object called Isekai-Navi, which can be used to enter other worlds and steal malicious intent from the hearts of other people.
Interested gamers can now pre-order Persona 5 "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition on Amazon for $90. This package comes with pre-order bonuses such as SteelBook Collectible Case, 64-page Hardcover Art Book, School Bag, Soundtrack CD and more.
It is interesting to note that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Persona franchise, which started in 1996.
