YC Wang’s Will: The essence of wealth is entrusted to us by God for management and control

As one who possessed enormous wealth, YC Wang wrote a letter before his passed away to his children, telling them to establish a proper understanding on wealth, for God has entrusted wealth to us for managment and control. He hopes that they would be able to enrich their lives with this fundamental principle in fully grasping the purpose and meaning of life. The following is the translation of the letter:

My children:

Although everyone likes wealth, but nobody is born with it, nor can it be taken away easily by anyone. Since people differ in their degree of diligence, some people earn more while others earn less. However, when you are about to end this life and leave this world, none of this wealth can be taken with you and all of it will return to the society. No one is an exception.

Therefore, wealth is essentially entrusted to us by God to manage and to control, so nobody can genuinely possess it. Facing the problems of wealth, I hope that you can have a proper understanding and build a meaningful life with this as the foundation.

Although I was born in a poor family, I came to have today's achievement through sowing and reaping diligently. In this life time process of fighting, I firmly believe that the greatest meaning and value of life lies in the full display of one's strength in contributing to the society and in creating a better developmental outlook, while building this concept and goals in life so one can persevere, self-motivate to work diligently and diligently contribute and achieve. In this way, this life will not be wasted.

Because of this deep realization, I, therefore, hope that all of you can understand fully the meaning of life, and through agreements and supports in one heart, reserve my wealth for the benefit of the society, allowing it to grow continuously and to promote the advancement of the society, so that it can serve as a blessing to the masses. I hope that the company that I’ve founded in this life time can be managed everlastingly, blessing the employees and society in the long-run.

Meanwhile, I also sincerely hope that all of you in your daily lives, instead of seeking for selfish gains, to not forget to serve and dedicate to the society, to set giving blessings to the people as the ultimate motivation, so you can establish a broad heart and deep wisdom, fully displaying the power of intelligence and not letting down the purpose of life.
