Jailbreak for iOs 9.1 out now

The hacking groups are now making progress in penetrating Apple's security system. Chinese Pangu team announced that a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.0-9.1 is now available. We've gathered all of the reliable on the web to give you updates on how to install jailbreaks in Apple iOs version 9.1, 9.2, 9.3 for iPhones and iPads.

The previous tool, launched October last year, was only available for Apple devices under iOS 9.0-9.0.2. International Business Times reported the latest Pangu-developed jailbreak software works in iPad Pro, iPad mini, Ipad Air, iPhone 5 and iPhone 6s Plus. Here is the link to Pangu iOS 9.1 jailbreak tool.

For interested Apple users who want to jailbreak their device, here are the important reminders:

  • Make sure the Apple device is under iOS 9.1
  • Have a backup data on iCloud or iTunes
  • Install the latest version of iTunes

Here are the steps to install the jailbreak software:

1. Turn off Find My iPhone feature under Settings > iCloud > Find my iPhone and disable Passcode and Touch ID under Settings > Touch ID and Passcode.

2. Switch to Airplane mode

3. Connect your Apple gadget to the PC and open the Pangu9 tool. Here are the download links for  Windows  and  Mac.

4. Press "Start"

5. Follow onscreen prompts. Choose "Already backup" to continue the installation process.

6. Once the installation process is completed, the device will reboot.

In order to confirm if the jailbreak installation is successful, locate the Cydia app on the home screen.

Meanwhile, an Italian hacker named, Luca Todescoaka aka qwertyoruiop, claims that there is a jailbreak tool for iOs 9.2.  The hacker reportedly found some glitches in the iOS kernel and jailbroke the operating system. However, his jailbreak tool is not yet available for download. There's still no confirmation if this software is legit.

We advise our readers to stay away from any jailbreaks from version 9.2 and up, because more than like they are viruses or hacking programs. Therefore, it is important to remember that users should not upgrade beyond iOs version 9.1.

Forbes said other jailbreak teams are waiting for the release of iOS 9.3 before launching their precious exploits. It is reported that iOS 9.3 are still in beta stages, so stay tuned for more updates.

Jailbreaking is a process of hacking device's security system to unlock its restrictions. Users that have jailbreak software can download the previously unavailable applications on their device.
