However, a so-called "religious freedom" bill approved by Georgia Legislators that protects opponents of same-sex marriage could change the NFL's choice. This religious exemptions' House Bill 757 has created concerns it could lead to discrimination against gay, lesbian and transgender people.

    Former NFL player, movie actor, model, reality celebrity and fitness buff Terry Crews recently shared in a series of videos posted to Facebook and YouTube how he recovered from his addiction to pornography, which he said "really, really messed up my life." Crews, a self-professed Christian, even publicly admitted he had to go to rehab for his addiction, which consumed him and threatened his marriage.

  • Cuba Prayer Vigil, Religious Freedom Demo at White House Marks Obama Historic Visit

    While President Barack Obama became the first U.S. president in 88 years to personally visit Cuba on Sunday (March 20), a prayer vigil for Cuban Christians was hosted in front of the White House by Rev. Patrick Mahoney, director of the Christian Defense Coalition and lead pastor of Church on the Hill. Activists also used the vigil as a demonstration for religious freedom.

    His Holiness Pope Francis became even more social media savvy Saturday when he launched his new Instagram account, posting a picture of himself kneeling, with a caption in several languages asking people of faith to pray for him. The previous Instagram record was 24 hours held by athlete David Beckham.
