Disney, Marvel Movie Studios Join Threats to Boycott Georgia If Anti-Gay Bill Becomes Law
Walt Disney Co. and its associated Marvel Studios film unit managers will refuse to make future movies in Georgia if the state's Gov. Nathan Deal (R) signs a proposed, controversial law that critics contend would legalize anti-LGBTQ discrimination, a company spokesman said Wednesday. Deal has until May 3 to decide whether to sign it. If he does nothing, it will automatically become law without his signature.

In order an effort to promote traditional Chinese culture, the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, in collaboration with Macao YMCA, Guangzhou Suigang'ao Teenagers Institute, and the Teacher Chang Foundation of Taiwan, has conducted a survey on teens measuring their cultural awareness. They found that Hong Kong youths generally identify with and support the values of traditional Chinese culture.
