"19 Kids and Counting" main stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar reportedly does not want their children mingling with their cousin Amy Duggar. The 29-year-old shared so herself to a fan via Instagram.
Amy gamely answered a curious question of one fan on how she and her cousins hang out. She claimed that before she can spend some time with Jill, Jessa and Jinger Duggar, she needed to go to their house. She cannot spend time with them at her own home because her aunt and uncle would not entertain the alternative - the Duggar sisters going to sleepovers at Amy's home.

"I have a question for you. Since your cousin's don't watch t.v., do they ever come over to your house and stay for a night?" a fan asked Amy via Instagram after the country singer aspirant posted a photo of herself wearing a "Gilmore Girls" sweatshirt. "Hey there! we've had a girls night before and have gone out to eat. It's a rule though that if I want to spend quality time with them I have to come see them. They don't want me to influence them," Amy replied, "So I respect their standards and I don't fuss about it," she added.
It is no secret to the Duggar family fans that Amy is considered some black sheep of the famous clan. She made the most headlines in 2015. In January that year, she confirmed that she was born out of wedlock, something the conservative Duggar family does not approve of. She also deviated from some of the major values that fundamentalist Christian family strictly adheres to. She is an alcohol drinker, for one. She also did not want a "courtship" from her now husband Dillon then.
Amy was quick to clarify that there is no beef between her and the Duggar sisters, though. "It used to really bother me and then I realized that I just live knowing that God gives us grace," Amy added on Instagram. "I can only be myself and even though we don't see eye to eye on every little thing we are still family and I do still love them. :)."
Despite not having gone through the conventional courtship, Amy proves her marriage with Dillon is the real deal. She recently shared to ET that they have plans for moving into a 2-bed, 2-bath home in Fayetteville, owned by Amy's own grandma. Recently, she also took to Instagram during the National Cereal Day to express how much she loves Dillon, even in a joking way.
