Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar visited Jill Duggar and Derik Dillard in El Salvador. This proves that Jll and her husband is still in the Central American country carrying out their missionary work, contrary to previous reports that claimed they are back in Arkansas, with Jill heavily pregnant already.
On the family blog last Thursday, February 100, Dillard wrote that her wife's parents paid them a surprise visit, to his delight. He said it was fun for his in-laws to see the things they are doing.
"Jill's parents surprised us recently with an impromptu visit for a few days," Dillard wrote. "It was great to have them with us and get to show them the work the Lord is doing here."
He also detailed that the grandparents were particularly happy to see their grandson, Israel. The baby just turned 10 months and enjoyed all the attention he was getting from Jim Bob and Michelle.
"Israel just turned 10 months and now enjoys eating fruits and veggies. Some of his favorites are bananas and avocados. He weighs a whopping 23 pounds and is cruising everywhere! We've had to baby proof our house, adding cabinet locks and outlet covers that 'Grandma C' (my mom) sent down. Israel definitely enjoyed all the attention when Grandma and Grandpa Duggar came to visit," Dillard further detailed.
Jill followed this heartwarming blog post up with her own in her Instagram account. She posted a family picture and thanked her followers for supporting them. She also encouraged followers to tune in to their website, www.dillardfamily.com.
Apart from sharing his in-laws' surprise visit, Dillard revealed that they are staying in an Hospitality House that SOS Ministries owns, leading some critics to say the family is just asking people for charity, claiming they are doing missionary activities, to avoid real work, Inquistr reports.
"We are staying in one of the 'Hospitality House' that S.O.S. ministries owns and have had multiple opportunities to host people. When we first moved in, we had a house full of team members for a couple weeks, including some of Jill's family. We've had several families over as well as groups of youth after our weekly soccer games at the newly constructed sports complex," Dillard wrote.
While this is not bizarre since the two left for El Salvador to work for S.O.S. Ministries as full-time missionaries, Inquisitr wonders why the need to set up their own non-profit organization, Dillard Family Ministries, before leaving for Central America if they are just joining SOS.
