The Duggar family, known for the conservative family values that they have been espousing, is said to have a closeted gay family member. The Duggars are said to know about this but refuse to acknowledge it.  

Ever since "19 Kids and Counting" has been cancelled, the family has been the target of many controversies. One rumor after another has been released regarding the family, mostly those set to show the family is not as conservative as they want to be. The most recent of these rumors is that the Duggars have a family member who is gay and hiding in the closet, Hollywood Gossip reports. 

According to the insider, the Duggars definitely have a gay cousin that acts straight when with them. To give a hint who this gay cousin is, the insider shared that the cousin is not really a blood relative but was adopted by his parents, who are cousins with the Duggars. 

Blood relative or not, the Duggars interacted with this gay cousin on more than one occasion, the insider revealed, implying that this cousin is close to the reality TV family. "He has been in attendance at Duggar family events, such as Jessa's wedding, and been photographed with Michelle before," the insider further hinted. 

The source shared that the unnamed cousin loves to party wildly, something the Duggars are not fond of doing. The gay cousin even had his fair share of love drama, allegedly stealing someone's boyfriend. "He is not innocent and is scandalous himself. He broke up a long-standing relationship between my friend and his boyfriend, who were set to marry," the source explained. 

The Duggars are doing their best to ignore the issue, the source shared. More likely, the family refuses to believe that someone close to their family can be gay. The source believes that once this secret is out, the family is going to be unhappy - mainly because it will allow people to further label them as hypocrites, similar to when Josh Duggar was found to have a history of sexually abusing minorities as well as a pornography addiction.

Josh is also currently in rehab and battling a court case from a porn star alleging he was violent during their paid sex sessions. The case further put the Duggar family and their fight for conservative Christian values in jeopardy since Josh is married to Anna and has four kids with her. The discovery that he has an account with Ashley Madison, a website facilitating extramarital affairs, further aggravated things for him and the family. In fact, after these issues emerged, Josh confessed of his hypocrisy.
