Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the patriarch and matriarch of the "19 Kids and Counting" clan have long been plagued by rumors of divorce. But recently, the two finally addressed those rumors through a Facebook post.

Rumors of divorce regarding the couple have been around ever since their eldest son, Josh Duggar, became the center of controversy that eventually led to the reality show's cancellation.

As reported by Hollywood Life in January of this year, after Josh admitted to molesting underage age girls, including some of his sisters, when he was still a teenager, and being addicted to pornography, he decided to enter a faith-based rehabilitation center.

But aside from this, Jim Bob also wanted to punish his son for the things he had done to the family. His mother, on the other hand, felt differently about the matter.

"Michelle thought it was so harsh, she was willing to defy her husband and take josh away from the area," the source told the site. "She spoke at length with family and friends and said she was willing to defy Jim Bob if it meant protecting her son."

"It caused a great deal of friction between Jim Bob and Michelle and could well have destroyed their marriage if Michelle had taken Josh away," the insider added.

Because of this, various sources then speculated that the two are already contemplating getting a divorce due to grave misunderstandings brought on by the controversial revelations about Josh.

But recently, Jim Bob and Michelle took to Facebook to finally settle the matter. According to the two, their marriage is still going strong thanks to their faith.

"We are more in love today than when we married almost 32 years ago," the two posted according to U.S. Magazine. "By God's grace, our marriage is the strongest and sweetest it has ever been!"

Aside from squashing the divorce rumors, the two even offered marriage tips for couples struggling with their own relationships. Many of the pieces of advice were about spending quality time with one another and using praises instead of negative criticism.

But, their number one tip for couples is to also build a close and stable relationship with God.
