On the subject of "Captain America: Civil War," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." star Ming-Na Wen said that her on-screen character can probably take on Natasha Romanoff, a.k.a. the Black Widow in a fist fight. Wen made the comment during the world premiere of Marvel's latest film.

Of course, the focus of the latest "Captain America" film is the division between the Avengers and the agencies associated with them. This includes S.H.I.E.L.D.

With the agency getting involved in the superhero fight, one could not help but wonder how the characters from the series will fare against the members of the Avengers. But, it wouldn't probably a fair fight because of the resources and powers of the Avengers but for Wen, she thinks her character Agent Melinda May can take on the Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson.

"I don't know, everyone wants to see a girl-on-girl fight, you know, with me and Scarlett Johansson's Character, Natasha Romanoff," she told ComicBook.com during the premiere of "Captain America: Civil War."

"I'm up for that," she added.

As noted by Cinemablend, the Black Widow is probably that only character Agent May can take on in a fair fight given their similar backgrounds. Both are highly trained specialists and have unique sets of skills that make them effective operators in close-quarter scenarios.

Also, given her portrayal in the television series, Agent May is sort of like the Black Widow of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." After all, the character almost always gets the most number of fight scenes in the show.

However, this is only a scenario cooked up by Wen and is no way a confirmation of the Black Widow appearance in the series in the future. But still, this could happen since the series has already featured major Marvel characters such as Nick Furry and Lady Sif in previous episodes.

As for what could happen to the agency due to the events in "Captain America: Civil War," Wen said she still doesn't know how the conflict and division will affect their characters.

"Well, the last 'Captain America' movie, 'The Winter Soldier,' had an incredible impact on 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," she said. "It caused the demise of S.H.I.E.L.D., so I don't know what's going to happen."

"I'm just hoping that it won't be as drastic of an impact," she added.
