iOS 9.3 Release Date and Features; Jailbreaking of iOS 9.1 and 9.2 Update

Apple iOS9

With iOS 9.2 being released recently, and iOS 9.2.1 coming soon, people are already anticipating the release of iOS 9.3.  With the first upgrade in 2016 release date on its way, there will be a lot to talk about as far as the features are concerned for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.  By the time iOS 9.3 is available, the jailbreak for iOS 9.1, 9.2, and even 9.3 could be perfected.

For those that want to try out iOS 9.3 now, that is possible thanks to a beta that has been made available for developers, according to Gotta Be Mobile.  It should also be available to the general public soon as well, for trying out the new features as well as trying out the bugs (as Apple surely wants to know about them ahead of time).

So what can be expected from the iOS 9.3 upgrade?  One new feature is simply known as "Night Shift", and it is designed to reduce the amount of blue light emanating from the screen at night.  Apparently, certain studies have revealed that blue light is able to alter one's circadian rhythm, which can negatively affect one's sleep.  With Night Shift, the iPhone will use its personal geolocation and clock in order to shift into the warmer colors at night, with its natural light in the morning.

Another new feature is designed for those who teach and learn with an iPad.  This classroom application is for teachers to see what their students see, as well as launch and lock applications with a Remote Control feature.  There is also a Manage ID so teachers and administrators can "easily reset passwords, audit accounts, create IDs in bulk, and create customized roles for everyone in the district."  It looks like the iPad is going to be even more of a teaching tool in 2016 with this.

Also, for those that are into the Apple Watch, it looks like there are going to be some "big changes" when it comes to the interface between the two devices.  Apple has released the beta for Watch OS 2.2 with the beta for iOS 9.3.  There will be changes in applications like Notes, CarPlay, Apple News, and Health.

With any new upgrade to the Apple Operating System, there is always news about jailbreaking it.  In the case of iOS 9.1 and 9.2, it doesn't appear that these have been jailbroken as yet, according to Neurogadget.  There is no release date for the jailbreak of iOS 9.1 and 9.2 projected, but Forbes is already saying that Italian developer Lucca Todesco has revealed that he has a jailbroken device running iOS 9.3.  This means that a jailbreaking tool for the other older iOS versions is most certainly on its way.

Most predict iOS 9.3 will be coming sometime in March, and more details could be announced as Apple has their March event.
