Next week, Apple will conduct its March Keynote event. The Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to launch the 4-inch iPhone SE and the iPad Air 3 at the said gathering, but what about the Watch 2? Invitations for the Apple March 21 Keynote event have gone out. With a tagline "Let us loop you in," some Apple fans believe the company will have an announcement about Apple Watch 2 during the event. However, there's still no confirmation if Apple will use the event to present the next-generation Apple Watch, but one thing is for sure --the company will reveal a new line of Apple Watch Bands.

Experts Review reported one of the new bands will be the Space Black Milanese Loop. Also, Apple might offer new Sports Band options and new designs for the Hermes bands.

As for the specs of the Apple Watch 2, industry experts predict the device will have a longer battery life. The current Apple watch can't even last for more than 24 hours even with moderate use. So, Apple might extend the battery life of the device. It is also possible that the new power saving technique will come from software.

Most of the activities of the Apple Watch are connected on iPhone. It is reported that Apple will make the Watch more capable even if it is not connected on the smartphone. The tech giant might accomplish it by simply adding a new wireless chipset into the wearable. By doing so, the watch will have more functions, such as messaging, phone calls, weather updates, location tracking and Apple Pay.

Furthermore, the Watch 2 could be released with a brand-new strap. Dubbed as Magnetic Wristband, this new watchstrap offers variety of uses for its wearers. According to AppleInsider, the strap could be could be wrapped around the Watch to protect the device. In addition, it could be a stand for the Watch, making it a bedside alarm clock.

Lastly, rumors say Apple Watch 2 may also have FaceTime camera, which can be used to make video calls.
