For some time now, rumors about power couple Beyoncé and Jay Z getting a divorce have been circulating the web. Although many of these were dismissed by the couple, a new report suggests that the two recently held a tension-filled dinner party.

The incident, which allegedly occurred during the weekend, was first detailed by RadarOnline based on an eyewitness account of a source who claimed to be present at the dinner engagement.

According to the anonymous source, the two recently held a small get-together at their rental home in Beverly Hills, California for their relatives and business partners. However, the guest said that the two appeared to be very distant from one another and that they barely spoke to each other.

"Beyoncé and Jay-Z barely spoke two words to each other the entire evening," the source said. "She complained about the food that he had catered, and said that it was not her people that made the meal."

"But Jay Z was very dismissive to Beyoncé all night long and had disappeared before all of the guests had left," the insider added.

As noted by the source, the rapper allegedly got so fed up with the situation that he walked away from the dinner table even though the guests were still there. This then left Beyoncé to entertain their guests on her own until the party ended.

Of course, since neither Jay-Z nor Beyoncé has issued their respective statements regarding the matter, the incident involving the two can only be labeled as another rumor for now. In other words, it's hard to speculate what happened between them that night since details of it came from an anonymous source.

Also, given the celebrity statuses of both Jay-Z and Beyoncé, the latest rumor suggesting a rift in their marriage may just be another report that has been exaggerated or sensationalized. After all, this is not the first time that a report like this about the couple emerged.

As noted by Gossip Cop, RadarOnline published a report earlier this month stating that one of the factors affecting the two celebrities' marriage is Jay Z's growing jealousy caused by the success of Beyoncé's own record label.

But, Gossip Cop stressed that aside from being husband and wife, Jay Z and Beyoncé are also business partners. This means these two benefit from achievements of one another.
