Supercell's massively popular mobile game Clash of Clans recently had an update during this month of September, but it didn't turn out to be a big one. Here is a list of Clash of Clans September and Fall Updates features, as well as some Tips on how to make the most of them. The one in October promises to be a really big one with their ClashCon Gaming Event.
According to AllClash, there was a maintenance break for Clash of Clans on September 22nd, and one scheduled for the 23rd as well. Generally, a maintenance break usually means that something new is coming, but these maintenance breaks have nothing to do with the update that already occurred this month.
The September 2015 Update New Features
Gotta Be Mobile reports that the September features were not as big as the update that occurred on July 1st, but there are a few noteworthy changes. For example, Lightning Spells are now strong at levels 5-6, and also available to Town Hall 8-9 at level 5-6. TH 10 can update Lightning Spells to Level 7. The Poison, Earthquake, and Freeze spells have also been changed as well.
Most fans of the game have noticed the new tiebreaker feature. Should the scores be even, then the game totals up the amount of damage from each attack, and the team with the most overall total damage percentage wins.
Fans have also noted the Walls feature, which allows Town Hall 10 players to get 25 new walls to help surround and protect their base. Most notable are the blue lightning Level 11 walls have been replaced with some lava walls.
Fans have also wanted a quick "Army overview" button, and Supercell has given it to them. This allows players to instantly check troop counts, layout, clan castle contents, as well as spells without ever leaving the Clan War map.
The October Update Preview
A separate article from Gotta Be Mobile reveals that one of the biggest update is coming to Clash of Clans with the first ever ClashCon Gaming Event. Here is what to expect sometime around October 24, the date of the event.
The first is Town Hall 11, because there are many who can't advance in the game after getting to Level 10. With the upgrade on Town Halls could come an upgrade to Barbarians to Level 8. There will also be more added to the Dark Barracks, as those four spots that say "coming soon" could have some new powers.
There is also the possibility of Clan War Tournaments. So after each clan wins a war, then they face a member of another clan that also won its war, with a bracketed system like a tournament. There could also be the addition of new single player maps as well as some new achievements and quests. There is even a rumor of a 3rd hero after the King and Queen, which was previously a rumor from Supercell on April 1st.
