For those that are enjoying the successful mobile game of Clash of Clans, you are probably eagerly awaiting the November/December/Holiday Update. Sadly, there isn't any affirmed release date, but there is a lot to expect. The last time that we talked about the Clash of Clans Update, we revealed that there was a lot of misinformation about it. Sure, ClashCon, Supercells first and probably not last gaming convention, did announce a Town Hall 11, a third hero, a new defensive unit, and all kinds of new features, but it wasn't like they were going to be readily available for fans of the game to play, at least not yet.
We also reported that this new update would arrive sometime in November, but a recent post on AllClash, a website devoted to Clash of Clans news, has stated that the TH11 Update would arrive in December. There still has been no formal announcement from Supercell when this long-awaited update will arrive, and the reason the December release date is known is because it was briefly mentioned after a Maintenance Break on the 4th and 5th. Generally, maintenance breaks signal that changes are coming for Clash of Clans, but this was not the maintenance break that the devoted fans of the game have been waiting for.
The Town Hall 11 (TH11) for one will bring a huge update with a new defensive troop with a pay 1,250 to hit next while searching for attacks, and with this change comes the long-awaited bigger base size as well.
There will also be a third hero coming to Clash of Clans. Who will it be? Well, the image here reveals a character holding what looks like a staff, book, and a headdress of some kind. So it will be King, Queen, and Mage? Most agree that it is probably some Mage holding a staff. Whatever the case, it will only be available to TH10 and TH11 players. Speaking of heroes, the barbarians will be able to level up to 8 after the update.
In addition to TH11 and the third hero, there will also be this new defensive unit that is similar to the Inferno Tower. It doesn't have a name as yet, but it should be big for Clan Wars. Another long-awaited update is the Dark Barracks, which is still "coming soon". There is also a rumor of a fourth spell to the Dark Spell Factory. There will be some single player maps, achievements, and new quests coming as well.
In addition to these new developments in the game, there is also a plan to have a Christmas update that also tentatively begins in December. However, there is also no specific release date on that either, but hopefully all of these updates will arrive in Late November at the latest, with the Christmas update possibly arriving after Black Friday or even before then. I'm sure most Clash of Clans subscribers will want to take advantage of the long Thanksgiving Weekend to play all of these new updates.
