Culture Research Regeneration Society will hold an annual fund-raising dinner banquet at Sheraton Hotel in Burnaby, Canada on Oct 11, and three days later, they will hold the second fund-raising event in San Francisco, United States. Dr. Yin Shing Leung, founder of CRRS, will be present at the dinner to share the experience of serving China and the future development goals of CRRS.
CRRS is a non-profit, non-political cultural studies organization. Since its establishment in 1994, CRRS hopes that through dialogue in skills and culture, it can stimulate the Chinese cultural exchange with the Western values and religious faith, and ultimately creating a society that is well-blended in China-Western cultural traditions. Presently, CRRS has developed three different organizations: 'Culture Research Regeneration Center', 'International Culture Regeneration Foundation', and 'Culture Regeneration Association'.
CRRS has scheduled to hold an fund-raising event at North America in October. The funds collected will be gathered in International Culture Regeneration Foundation, which will be used in the 'Funding Farm Teacher Plan' and 'Student Financial Aid', which will help to raise the poor condition in the villages of China, strengthen the capabilities of teachers in these mountainous areas and the level of child educational program.
Christians from more than 30 churches have eagerly responded to the Burnaby Annual Fund-Raising Activity on Oct 11. Besides this, famous composers and musicians and choir groups will perform during the event. Performance includes cello, violin, guzheng, erhu, and other Chinese-western instruments, accompanied with soliloquy and chorus, and combining various media group. The fund-raising dinner banquet will be filled with cultural artistic atmosphere.
