Actress Mischa Barton and her partner Artem Chigvintsev bid farewell to the 22nd season of "Dancing with the Stars" after becoming the second couple to get eliminated from the show. However, according to sources, it seems the former "O.C." star did not take her elimination well.

In the third episode of the show, which aired on April 4, Barton and Chigvintsev received the lowest score in the group, which then led to their elimination. But, sources who claims to have inside knowledge of the show said that the actress became very rude backstage after being removed from the roster.

Aside from not saying goodbye to the other participants, she also reportedly refused to congratulate Nyle Dimarco and her partner Peta Murgatroyd, who got the highest score that night.

"Mischa was the only one to not congratulate Nyle on his fantastic dance performance," the source said according to Mirror. "She acted so rude after the show ended last night. Mischa did not even seem to want to say goodbye to anyone. There were hardly any hugs or farewells."

"Mischa just never seemed into it from day one," the insider added. "And her behavior certainly didn't win her many friends on set."

The actress' camp, however, said that allegations about her rude exit are not true.

Although her backstage reaction may not be true according to her representatives, it's very clear that she has been struggling in her performances on the show. Various sources even labeled her elimination as "putting her out of her misery."

After her departure from the show, Barton admitted that she and her partner had a very rough start, which is most probably due to the tension between them during rehearsals.

Due to the number of times they clashed during practices, Barton joked that she and Chigvintsev could have their own reality show.

But, despite all the rumors, Barton and her partner enjoyed their time on "Dancing with the Stars."

"It's been a fun experience and I've learned a lot from Artem," Barton said according to E Online.

"This week, I feel like we accomplished...so much and the last four rays of training, we've done so much more in the past five weeks of training in general, that I feel like we're finally getting somewhere positive," Chigvintsev added.
