If you ever watched the pilot episode of the show Community, the main character Jeff Winger states that what makes us human is that we have "Shark Week". Sharks do not have "Shark Week" but we do. This week on the Discovery channel is easily one of the network's most watched, and this is what to expect for Shark Week 2016 with its schedule, start time, and shows to expect.
Chances are, by the time this article gets published, it will be after the Shraktacular special on June 19, but if there is a way for you to catch it online, it will give you a sneak peek of what is to come this week for Shark Week. This special is hosted by Eli Roth, which the Inquisitr states that it will feature viral shark videos submitted by fans, the greatest sharks in the history of the series, and a sneak peek at the "jaw-dropping moments" of the upcoming season.
As for what will be happening, The Discovery Channel's own website has detailed explanations on each of these individual shows featuring sharks, sharks, and more sharks. Most of these focus on the killer nature of this fascinating fish, in distant lands or far under the sea. All times are Eastern Time or ET.
